A brief biography...

Sinead is a fine art printmaker and teacher living in Westport, Co. Mayo.

Drawing inspiration from town, country and coastline in the West of Ireland, Sinead works largely with relief techniques, using wood and lino blocks to create her images.

Sinead established her own print studio beside her home in 2008 and has exhibited regularly in a variety of group shows including with the artists' groups: The Wright Artists and West Ink. Sinead is represented by The Lavelle Gallery,  Clifden.

Sinead has been an educator within the visual arts for over 25 years and is presently a teacher at Westport College of Further Education where she teaches various modules across the full-time art, photography and film courses. She has an academic background in Irish Archaeology and History of Art.  She was awarded a Masters Degree in Irish Art and Architecture from University College Dublin in 1994.
